Ramsbottom United’s squad will be resplendent in new tracksuits for the coming season thanks to the sponsorship of Ramsbottom-based SCA Stubbins Mill.
SCA is a leading global hygiene and forest products company and its Stubbins Mill, which employs over 100 people locally, produces paper to support the professional tissue business for UK customers, and has sponsored the club in the past.
The new deal was completed when the joint-managers Paul Fildes and Mark Fell received the new tracksuits frm SCA representatives Susan Harker and Dave Hudson.
Joining the party, which included officials from the club, were Sam Freakes and club captain Gareth Seddon, who were eager to try on the new outfits.
Fildes was delighted, saying “These tracksuits will be worn by every member of the squad for both home and away games, giving the team a professional look.
Stubbins Mill site manager John Kirwin commented: “We hope the new tracksuits will help bring the Rams success and we can alll look forward to the club’s promotion pack to the Premier Division next season.”
