As the new season draws closer, Ramsbottom United welcome the recently-formed Bury AFC to the Harry Williams Riverside Stadium, with the visitors just a week away from the new North West Counties League start.
This will be the first time that the new team representing the town will have visited close neighbours Ramsbottom, and the game is expected to attract a large crowd, especially in the light of the Government’s relaxation of Covid-19 restrictions.
Kick-off is 3 pm and admission is by cash at the turnstiles, but supporters of both sides are asked to arrive early at the ground to ensure no last-minute rushes. Turnstiles will be open by 2 pm.
Limited on-site parking will mean restrictions for drivers who are advised to park within the town centre or close-by streets, and fans are encouraged to use the buses or the East Lancashire Railway special train that will depart from Bury’s Bolton Street station.
Admission at the stadium is £5 for adults, with £3 concession for 16 and under and 65 and over.
Matchday Programme and Refreshments will be available inside the ground, whilst Bar facilities will be offered in the adjacent Cricket Club.

There will be an outside bar serving cans and we have our main club bar. We ask that you use the App to order your drinks from the club bar where possible.
Thanks for your co-operation
In an effort to assist the new Bury AFC club financially, Ramsbottom United has agreed to split the net receipts from the match 50/50 between the two clubs.
