The Rams are back in action on Tuesday night at the Harry Williams Riverside Stadium and will be pitting their wits against another northern premier league premier division side Hyde United as pre-season preparations continue.

Chris Willcock’s men will be hoping to build on an impressive 2-2 draw away at Radcliffe on Saturday in which two trialists were on the scoresheet.

The gaffer was pleased with the performance at the weekend and highlighted the teams attacking threat in particular.

“I thought the two goals we scored were special, I really enjoyed that”, said Willcock.

“Attacking play at times we created another number of chances which is always pleasing.”

Hyde ran out 2-1 winners the last time the sides met way back in 2018 and Rammy will be looking to put that right in what will be a tough challenge against higher opposition.

There are no fresh injury concerns for the Rams meaning once again the manager has a full squad at his disposal to choose from.

Once again fans will not be allowed to attend this game but commentary is available via Roch Valley Radio
