Rammy are back on home soil on Saturday when they face North West Counties League Division One South side Cheadle Town.

Chris Willcocks’ men got back to winning ways on Thursday beating New Mills 3-2 with all three goals scored by trialists while Saturdays visitors were beaten 4-1 in their last encounter at the hands of Hazel Grove.

Cheadle will be the third time this pre-season that we have come up against a lower tier outfit having beaten both Barnoldwick and New Mills.

This will be the rams second game in two days with the gaffer ramping up the pre-season schedule in order to make sure the team are ready for the first game of the season and he will be hoping for another positive result.

Up the Rams!
