Rammy are back on home turf this Saturday when Market Drayton Town will be visiting the Harry Williams Riverside Stadium.
This comes off the back of Lee Donafee’s first win as manager in a 2-1 mid-week victory at Kendal Town in which Jake Thompson and James Murphy got on the scoresheet.
It will be the Rams’ second home game of the season and they will be hoping to claim their first points at the HWRS having lost the first 3-0 against Marine.
Despite this defeat, Donafee’s men have started strongly on the road meaning the Rams have four points from a possible nine and sit ninth at this early stage in the new campaign.
The gaffer is hoping the lads can build on Tuesday’s win and is hoping to put in a strong performance for the Rammy faithful!
He said: “I’m looking forward to this game Saturday and on the back of our first win we are in a good place and want to keep the momentum going.
“Our sole focus is on Saturday’s game and winning the three points.
“It will be a great feeling for the lads playing at home Saturday as it will be our first home Saturday game of the season and I’m hoping the Rams fans will be there in their numbers and we can put a performance in for them.
“The lads know the task in hand and it won’t be easy, no game is in this league but we will be ready.”
This weekend’s visitors come into the game with one less point than the Rams having won one and lost two of their opening fixtures.
The Gingerbread men lost 1-0 last time out at home to 1874 Northwich and are seeking their first away points this season.
Rammy will be looking to repeat the previous meeting with the Shropshire side which was back in 2018 where they ran out 3-1 winners which included a goal from current Rams striker Jamie Rainford.
