The Rams will be looking to make it four league wins on the bounce when Colne visit the Harry Williams Riverside Stadium on Tuesday.
It has been an impressive start to Lee Donafee’s reign as manager with his men registering ten points from a possible fifteen.
This has put the Rams in a healthy fourth position, with many promising signs shown in the early stages of the new campaign, particularly with regards to scoring goals.
Rammy have notched twelve goals already with only Clitheroe having registered more, and the gaffer is hoping the lads can keep up the momentum against a tricky Colne side.
“Looking forward to the game as we welcome a good Colne side who had a great result on Saturday in the FA Cup.” said Donafee.
“We’re in a good place at the minute and we’re desperate to keep the momentum going.
“The lads are ready for the game and focused on the task in hand.”
Colne has had a mixed start and 12th in the table, albeit having played a game less due to their progression in the FA Cup.
The Reds come into this one on the back of a positive result having beat Stalybridge Celtic away 1-0 on Saturday.
Rammy was given the weekend off after failing to make it past the preliminary round of the FA Cup, but like Colne, were victorious last time out producing a fine 3-0 win away at Mossley.
Colne will provide another tricky test and has been a bit of a bogey team for the Rams in recent meetings.
Rammy have lost the previous six games against the Reds, the last being a 3-1 home defeat in the FA Trophy back in 2019.
Let’s hope the lads can change this on Tuesday and continue the strong start to the season.
