The Rams have waited until after the pro-club deadline day to announce a signing of their own, 20-year-old defender Marcus Poscha is back at Ramsbottom after a successful loan spell in 2015/16. The former Bury and Crewe Alexandra professional can play anywhere across the back four and is well known to the Rammy faithful.
Rochdale-born Poscha was a product of the Bury youth system, playing every game for the youth team in 2013-14, 28 appearances in total as the side reached the Lancashire FA Senior Cup final. He made his professional debut on 3 May 2014, coming on as a substitute in the second half of the 0-0 draw with Morecambe.
In February 2015, Poscha signed his first professional contract with the Shakers. Then came the loan move to the Rams where he made ten appearances and scored once. In March 2016, Poscha was loaned out again to Stockport County and went on to make three appearance during his time there. He was signed as a professional at Crewe in September 2016 and went on to play for the U23s that season.
Poscha goes straight into the squad to play against Glossop North End on Saturday.
