As you will have seen on our social media, prior to the FA cup win against Irlam we announced that Rammy had added five new faces to the ranks for the upcoming season.
Chris Willcock has strengthened his squad with the additions of Ollie Martin, Aaron Burns, Morgan Moreland, Daniel O’Brien and Domaine Rouse.
The first we announced was goalkeeper Ollie Martin who played the full 90 minutes for Rammy in Saturdays win. Ollie started his career at Manchester City and has since played for a number of clubs including Radcliffe Borough and Fleetwood and will bring plenty of experience to the Rams.
Another new addition that was thrown straight into the starting line-up against Irlam and also got on the scoresheet is midfielder Daniel O’Brien. He started his career at Wigan and has since had spells at Alfreton, Hyde and most recently at Atherton Colleries.
Midfielder Domaine Rouse is another who has joined the club and also started against Irlam and looked bright winning a penalty for the Rams. He is best known for a lengthy spell he had at Droylsden and has also played for other clubs including Hyde and Macclesfield
Chris Willcock has also brought in the experienced Aaron Burns who has played for a host of clubs in the North West including Nantwich Town, Ashton United and Northwich Victoria. Aaron came off the bench against Irlam and looked dangerous on the wing.
Finally, Rammy have also brought in some young upcoming talent with the signing of 18-year-old Morgan Moreland. Morgan joins the Rams after being released following a two-year full time scholarship with the club. He was named amongst the substitutes in our FA cup win on Saturday.
