Due to the recent flooding and the devastating mess left behind at the Harry Williams Riverside Stadium, next Saturday’s (9th January) home game in Evo-Stik Premier against Grantham Town has been reversed, and will now take place at Grantham’s South Kesteven Sports Stadium.
The game due to be played on 12th March, originally scheduled for Grantham, will now take place at Ramsbottom United.
A coach will be available for supporters on Saturday (please contact Chairman Harry Williams for reservations).
This will allow more time for the stadium to be returned to “normality” after the worst effects from such floods in the club’s 50-year existence.
The club would like to place on record its thanks to everyone who has donated and put in the many “man-hours” so far in tidying up in what has been a massive task. Work is continuing in the hope that everything will be back to normal over the next couple of weeks.
Our next scheduled home match is against Marine on Tuesday 19th January.
