Ramsbottom United are delighted to announce four new signings ahead of the 2020/21 season.

The first being young winger Jake Thompson, who joins us from Liversedge, he’s impressed in pre-season, former clubs of his include youth teams at Liverpool, Blackburn & Huddersfield and has also had a spell at Eccleshill United.

During his time at Eccleshill he scored 11 times in 35 appearances.

Jake spoke to the club media team yesterday after signing for the club

The second of the four is a more familar face to the Rammy faithul, as Tony Donaldson has rejoined the club ahead of the new season, the midfielders first spell at the club came during the 18-19 season. Donaldson spent most of last season at Colne before moving to Runcorn Linnets just before the season was halted.

And another familar face has rejoined the club is midfielder, Khalil Osi-Efa.

He joined the club shortly after Chris Willcock was appointed manager in October 2018 and has signed on the dotted line for the 2020/21 season.

The final player of the four that we are delighted to announce, is centre-back Dharius Waldron. He joins us from a club in the Cheshire league and has impressed management during his trial in pre-season. Waldron is also a former Liverpool youth player.

We’d like to welcome Jake, Tony, Khalil & Dharius to the club and hope they have a successful season with us.
