The Rams face a ridiculously long Tuesday trip to Cambridgeshire, to take on Peterborough-based Yaxley in the next round of the FA Trophy.
The kick-off has been put back by 15 minutes in case of traffic problems on the near 320 mile round trip. Having beaten Trafford away and Frickley Athletic away to reach this stage, a game on the road should hold no fears following further success away to Skelmersdale United (3-0) and much-fancied Prescot Cables (4-0) in the League.
Yaxley sit 16th in the Southern League Division One North, with 11 points from 12 league games, so the Rams make the journey south with much optimism that they can proceed to the 3rd Qualifying round, and along with that, continue to boost the clubs’ coffers, with no home game scheduled for the whole of November, although that could change should the game be drawn, as the replay would be at the HWRS on Tuesday 20th.
The winners of the tie will travel to etiher AFC Mansfield or Pickering Town on Saturday 24th November
