Ramsbottom United are pleased to announce the launch of their new Football Academy based at The Harry Williams Riverside Stadium, Acre Bottom, Ramsbottom.

We will be offering a B-Tec qualification in Sports Performance for 16 year old School leavers either Level 2 or 3. You will have the opportunity to learn and play in football coaching and we offer a pathway to Adult football.

Our first eleven play in the Bet Victor Northern Premier League North West Division one, a Development team in the Lancashire U21 League & u18 in the North West Youth Alliance League. So the opportunity to represent the club at a semi-professional level is available and we have links to North West Counties, West Lancashire League and Manchester Leagues depending on ability.

Our Btec Learning partner will be iSports Ltd.

You will learn and train each day and compete in a college league with home games played at the stadium on Wednesday afternoons. The classroom is also at the ground within walking distance of Ramsbottom Village.

Entry requirements; Learners must be 16 and hold A-C grades in at least 5 GCSEs (including English and Maths). Learners who do not hold these qualifications will be assessed on a case by case basis.

We will hold an open day on Sunday 16th February 2020 so why not register to attend and see our facilities, speak to the course directors and view a presentation.
