Ramsbottom United’s talented striker Aaron Smith scored both goals for England Schools Under 18s as they maintained their unbeaten run with victory over their Scotland counterparts at Fleetwood Town on Friday evening.

Aaron, who has played 13 matches for the Rams’ first XI this season scoring four goals, took his England’s goal tally to three with the double strike to down the Scots – the second coming deep in injury time – to follow his winner against Wales in the Inspiresport Centenary Shield at Bangor City’s ground on the 18th March.

His efforts have seen England secure nine points from their three games to top the table with one game left to play, against the reigning champions Republic of Ireland next Friday evening at The New Saints ground at Oswestry.

Ramsbottom United congratulate Aaron on his achievements and are very proud of his efforts – another huge feather in the Rammy Academy cap.
