Boxing Day games are nearly always reserved for local derbies. But the Rams never had less distance to travel for an away game than they did on Boxing Day in 2006 against FC United.

For the third time in this FA Trophy run of 2018/19, the Rams had brought their original match opponents back to the Harry Williams Riverside Stadium for a replay and, like the previous three, progressed to the next round.

Having finally taken a break from knock-out action for a couple of weeks, the Rams headed up to a wet and wild Workington for the first round proper of the FA Trophy on this day, Saturday 15th December 2018.
